Job description
Enwave is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) for the European market to significantly grow the sales portfolio, giving a trusted presence in Europe and be a part of elevating the organization to new heights.
Your responsibilities:
- Building & Forging Relationships: Finding, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with prospects, key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and drive growth.
- Lead Generation: Accountable for driving inbound leads through outreach and other activities. Working inbound leads in your area of responsibility coming through various activities such as tradeshows, events, website and campaigns.
- Revenue Growth: Accountable to reach sales, margin and forecasts from your annual budget expectations.
- Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies to expand our customer base and increase market share.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and customer preferences to make data-driven decisions.
- Trade Show Coordination and Participation: Be a part of identifying, planning and attending industry trade shows and events.
- The BDM role will report directly to the VP, Global Sales & Business Development.
Profile
Experienced B2B sales pro with a proven track record
Job requirements:
- 10+ years as a BDM or sales representative in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing high-performance sales results, delivering to revenue and quota expectations.
- Ability to individually drive activity and comfortable being a hunter.
- Strong track record of handling complex, high-value deals in a long sales cycle.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Fluent in English and proficiency in (some) other European languages.
Nice to have experience:
- Working in complex sales cycles with large ticket pricing.
- Working within the manufacturing and machinery industry.
- Food industry.
- Working with remote teams.

Location
This role is open to candidates based in The Netherlands, Germany or Belgium, with travel to Vancouver for training, client R&D and to engage with the team on key customers and prospects. International travel will also be required for trade shows, etc.
